Signage Technician / Signage Apprentice – Reeds (Cumbria) Ltd
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Working alongside a team of skilled technicians in a fast-moving department.
You will be responsible for:
- Receiving and following production instructions on dockets.
- Ensuring that customer requirements are understood and achieved.
- Manufacturing, Installing and maintaining all types of signage and displays.
- Fitting of various signs and graphics, including trays, post and panels, acrylic signs, shop facias etc
- Working on and offsite where necessary, using power tools and access equipment where required.
- Preparation and installation of vehicle graphics.
- Operate wide format printers and CNC cutting machinery.
- To attend training and development courses to acquire the relevant skills required for the job, including health and safety.
About You
- Have some experience in a similar role, although not necessary as full training will be given.
- A willingness to travel due to the nature of the role and a full UK driving licence.
- Enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude and problem-solving work ethic.
- Have a good eye for detail, with a high level of accuracy.
- Be calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- A good team player is essential who is also able to work under your own initiative.
