    How You Can Make An Impact At Industry Conferences & Exhibitions

    We asked a few of our team members to share some of their top tips when it comes to designing a high-impact exhibition space, so you can start planning for your next event.

    If your 2026 diary is filled up with conference dates, the best course of action is to plan ahead when it comes to your exhibition space. In most cases (but not always) you’ll have a relatively modest area to fill, but making a huge impact on passers-by is still possible - even if you’re pushed for space. 

    Our team has helped many high-profile and local businesses to showcase themselves at industry events and national conferences alike, and there are a variety of ways in which we can support you. We asked a few of our team members to share some of their top tips when it comes to designing a high-impact exhibition space, so you can start planning for your next event.

    Use panel printing to showcase your message

    The focal point of your exhibition stand needs to be clear, and there’s no better solution for achieving this than panel printing. Panel prints are essentially large, high-definition images or graphics, printed onto rigid materials - our most commonly used bases are Foamex, Acrylic, Correx, and ACM. Our panel prints are created using cutting-edge printing technology, and they will present your message clearly and professionally. 

    We created several panel prints for AW Jenkinson’s stand at the APF Forestry Exhibition, telling the story of the life cycle of wood. We used each panel to show different stages of the narrative, making it clear for visitors on how they should ‘flow’ through the messaging they were being shown. Overall, if you’re looking for a high-impact solution and you have a larger space to fill, you may want to consider panel printing.

    Create high-quality leaflets and flyers

    They might be one of the most traditional forms of advertisement, but their impact is still measurable - leaflets and flyers are also essential for your upcoming conference or exhibition. The most common thing that visitors want is to have something to take away, especially if your product or service is something they are already on the lookout for. 

    The big mistake that is often made with printed collateral is overwhelming the document with information, instead of considering the design and focusing on key aspects of your messaging. We can help on both fronts - our design experts will be able to translate your branded assets into a flyer design that represents your business perfectly, and they’ll also help you to be selective in choosing the information to include. They can also help you to make use of QR codes, and this is a great way to tie in with your digital strategy. For example you might want to create a landing page on your website where visitors who had attended the conference can submit a form with their details or revisit key points from your stand - being able to access this from the flyer is ideal for keeping the customer journey of these ‘warm’ leads nice and smooth.

Choosing recyclable or reusable materials for panel printing, opting for responsibly sourced paper stocks for leaflets and brochures, and designing vinyl wall wraps that can be removed and repurposed all help to reduce waste are all conscious choices that we can help you to make.

    By building sustainability into your signage and print choices from the outset, you not only reduce environmental impact, but also demonstrate to visitors that your brand takes long-term thinking seriously - and this is something that is increasingly influencing buying decisions.

    Vinyl wall wraps

    If you want to ramp up your messaging and really maximise the usage of your exhibition space, then a vinyl wall wrap would be perfect. Vinyl wall wraps are printed, high-quality, large graphics, applied to flat surfaces. In an exhibition stand, a vinyl wrap could create the most immersive possible experience, as it’ll completely surround your visitors with your key messaging. Again, we are happy to provide input on design, but it’s really important to keep your business at the forefront, so we’ll always ask for your branding first. 

    Following a recent investment in our printing technology, we can now print large-scale wraps onsite at our Penrith printers, and our team will be happy to install the wall wrap for you - this is a slightly more complex process, as it requires a lot of precision and attention. 

    Branded business stationary

    This might seem like another obvious port of call, but it’s actually one of the most valuable additions that you can make when exhibiting. Having business cards to give away is always a plus at conferences, but it actually has a far longer lasting effect as it will help to build brand recognition over time.     Brochures and booklets
